Lily was walking home from school when she heard a strange sound.
It was a low, rumbling sound, followed by a giggle.
"Did someone just fart?" she wondered, wrinkling her nose.
She looked around but saw no one.
Then, she noticed a stack of homework papers lying on the sidewalk.
Suddenly, a mischievous gnome popped out from behind a bush, admitting he'd farted to create a distraction so he could grab the homework!
Lily bravely grabbed her friend's assignments and outran the Gnome with the power of speed-walking!
It wasn't every day she got to be a superhero!
